CSIA and Advanced Hearing Providers enter into a Provider Partnership

CSIA is excited to announce that we have entered into a Provider Partnership with Advanced Hearing Providers for Hearing Aid Products effective October 1, 2020.  This partnership allows CSIA members in good standing to avail themselves of preferred pricing on all hearing aids and that also inlcudes lifetime free batteries and wax filters!

Advanced Hearing Providers (“AHP”) is an end-to-end hearing loss claims solution that delivers related products and services using a nationwide network of contracted and credentialed hearing healthcare providers.

AHP will provide hearing loss related claim administration services for members in good standing of California Self Insurers Association. In order  to receive the discounted pricing, Employer and TPA members will need to add AHP to its panel of preferred vendors to provide authorized services either direct or through its designated third party-administrator(s) (“TPA”). These related products and services are included for CSIA Members but are not limited to:

  • Discounted Hearing aids, fittings and repairs
  • Hearing Aid parts, supplies and accessories
  • Hearing loss claims diagnostic testing
  • Physician work-relatedness review
  • On-site hearing testing and review services
  • Clinical oversight and free peer review
These products and services will be referenced by appropriate CPT and HCPC codes, billed electronically and are priced as mutually agreed to by the provisions specifically stated in the Pricing document that you can access below.  The current pricing effective 8-1-23 can be reviewed here.

Customer Service: AHP will provide unlimited access to AHP claims staff during normal business hours of 6:00AM to 6:00 PM Pacific time, Monday through Friday. All emails will be replied to within 30 minutes of receipt. Updates will be provided at least every two business days.

Peer Review: AHP provides complimentary peer review on a case-by-case basis upon request of the client. These reviews are intended to be an objective, educational second opinion of provider recommendations and are designed to give claims professionals the tools to make appropriate and medically necessary decisions. We have found that claims that go through our peer review process have a lower average claim cost as well reach MMI faster.
