****The 2020 Annual Meeting has been cancelled.  Unfortunately Disney is unable to determine at this time when the Grand Californian Hotel will open.  As a result, the Board of Managers made the very difficult decision to cancel the event in the interest of safety for all attendees.  We are looking at a potential webinar or tow that will include sessions that were scheduled.  IF you are a registrant you will receive a separate email advising of your options.

CSIA’s 2020 ANNUAL MEETING

 

Exceeding the Vision:  Are You On The Right Path To A Successful Self-Insurance Program?

Our 2020 Annual Meeting will be held at the Disney Grand Californian Hotel in Anaheim, CA on September 15th.   The theme for this event is following up on our 2019 Employer Summit where the agenda was specifically designed for self-insured employers and employers with high deductible programs. The presentations were case examples of how employers can improve their outcomes and many of the reviews were very positive, stating that this was a first of its kind summit with sessions that were extremely valuable.

For the 2020 Annual Meeting, we will have an agenda where each session will have take-aways and be focused on ways that employers can improve the governance of their workers’ compensation programs.  The bottom line is that employers need to be involved in their workers’ compensation programs and our Annual Meeting will show you proven methods as to how you can be appropriately involved in better managing your claims program for positive results.

The deadline for submission of speaking proposals has passed.  Please keep us in mind for next year!

Cancellation Policy: Due to the cancellation of the Annual Meeting as a result of COVID-19, all previously paid registrations will be honored for the 2021 Annual Meeting that is scheduled to be held May 10 and 11 at the Disneyland Hotel.  If you would prefer a refund you must send in a written request for a refund and it will be processed in the order received.  Please make your request for a refund no later than 5:00pm PST Friday August 28, 2020. Telephone requests will not be honored. There will be NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS AFTER THAT DATE. Postmark or email date will control.
