Join us for a webinar session on Navaigating the MPN 2nd Opinion Process. This session will be presented by Sherri Dozier and Zane Uribarri of Bradford and Barthel.

Sherri and Zane will share best practices for utilizing the often under used option for a 2nd opinion within your MPN to avoid the costs and often uncertainty of going to a QME or AME!

Ms. Dozier started in workers’ compensation in 1987. Her journey has taken her from insurance companies such Fireman’s Fund, Pacific States Casualty, Heath Cal, Ulico/USA Casualty, and Cal Comp/Superior National to working at Bradford & Barthel in 1999.

Ms. Dozier is a certified paralegal and nurse. She also earned a Workers’ Compensation Specialist Certificate through the University of California Riverside. Ms. Dozier has a Self Insurance license and has her WCCA, WCCP. She also has IEA certificates as well as many other educational seminars related to our field.

After many years both working on a claims desk, supervising and managing in the insurance field, at Bradford & Barthel she has helped to bridge the gap between legal and claims practices. Ms. Dozier provides training on a variety of workers’ compensation and employment law topics, development of programs, is a specialist in Health Care Organizations (HCO), Medical Provider Networks (MPN), State Audit Defenses and Preparation, and Large loss settlement review and analysis. She is very active in participating in client file reviews and meetings with a focus on client service and relationship development.

A California native, Zane Uribarri moved to Sacramento to attend McGeorge School of Law after graduating from California State University San Marcos with a degree in Economics. While in law school he worked as a certified law clerk and made court appearances, took depositions, and argued motions in federal and state court in a variety of civil matters. After graduating Order of the Coif in 2007 and passing the California Bar Exam, Mr. Uribarri began his practice of employment and workers’ compensation law. Upon returning to Southern California in 2009, he has focused exclusively on workers’ compensation matters defending uninsured employers, self-insured employers, third party administrators and insurance companies.
